Peter Dicks and Allen Latta collectively have over 50 years experience in venture capital, private equity and corporate finance, and have worked together for over 15 years.

Peter has over 30 years of experience in the private equity sector, as a venture capitalist investing in technology companies, as a board member of private and public companies, and as a director of investment funds and fund-of-funds.

Peter co-founded Abingworth, one of the UK's early venture capital funds, in 1973 where he stayed until 1991. The majority of Abingworth's portfolio consisted of American technology companies and it was an early investor in, amongst others, Apple, Silicon Graphics, Symantec and 3COM. Since then, he has been non-executive Director or Chairman of a number of companies in the private equity or investment field including Vencap International Fund Managers Ltd, Gartmore Fledgling Trust plc, Graphite Enterprise Trust, Polar Capital Technology, Sportingbet plc and Standard Microsystems.

Allen has nearly 20 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. He was formerly the Director, Business Development, head of the US office and member of the Board of Directors of global private equity fund-of-funds manager VenCap International plc.

Prior to VenCap, he was an Executive Director in the Telecommunications Investment Banking Group at Bear, Stearns & Co. and before that a Director in the Media and Telecommunications Group at CIBC World Markets. Prior to his career in investment banking, Allen was a corporate finance attorney with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and with Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Younger, specializing in private equity and venture capital transactions, public offerings and mergers & acquisitions.

Allen received an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA, a JD from UC Hastings College of Law, and a BA in Economics from UCLA.

Allen is a CFA Charterholder.
